We also studied the healing of the deaf man in the region of Decapolis. Why did Jesus have to touch the man to heal him? Perhaps because he didn’t know who Jesus was and couldn’t hear or understand what was happening as his friends brought him before Jesus. When Jesus put his finger in the man’s ears he would know what was going to happen.
