Like so much of what Jesus said, you will remember it and finally understand it when it happens. Our conversation focused on how to be sure we don’t get lead astray by a false profit or a pretend Jesus. The scripture makes it clear (Mark 13:23-26) that before Jesus comes the sun and moon will be darkened and the stars will disappear then “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.”
We can’t allow ourselves to be lead astray by the mainstream and social media or by friends and associates telling us they have found someone who claims to be the Messiah. Perhaps the time of his coming is a mystery so that we have to be ready and faithful all the time. If we knew the day and time, there are those who might wait to consider the teachings of Christ until the last minute. It could be tempting for some to think it probably won’t happen today but we don't know; only God knows so don't worry about the date; just stay ready and don't be deceived.
