At least five thousand people came out to hear Jesus speak. It has been said the Jesus might have done better if he appeared later in our history when we had mass communication but perhaps the fact that there was no radio, television, or newspapers actually caused more people to pay attention to him; he wasn’t just another show, he was the show. Yet; in spite of the miracles, while people were willing to believe he was a prophet, when he said he was the Son, they didn’t believe. As you read these verses you have to ask yourself, do I believe he is the Son of God and perhaps, if radio, television, and newspapers become unreliable, people will chose to turn again to Jesus to learn what's important.
