The Death of Haman

We discussed the timing of Haman coming to justice. On discovering Haman's plot to have the Jews killed,  Esther begins a three-day fast to seek guidance and strength. On the third day she has a banquet at which King Ahasuerus and Haman attend and on the fourth day, the 16th of Nisan, she has another banquet at which Ahasuerus and Haman again attend and she reveals Haman's plot to have the Jews killed. Haman is subsequently hanged or, as some versions say, impaled on the device made by Haman to kill Mordecai.
