Daniel 9: Daniel's Prayer

We started on Daniel 9 this morning. It lead to a lengthy discussion on how God can turn his back on an entire country whose people and leader turn away from him. Some parallels in current politics were considered. We observed that there are many who claim to be Christian who's deeds don't support that claim. We also discussed 1 Corinthians 7:14, For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
