Nothing New Under the Sun
We continued with Romans. Romans 1:18 and 19 are especially powerful; men knew about God before having to be told and yet they constructed alternative images in the form of men or animals. So God gave them over to their depraved minds and they were filled with envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. Sound familiar? Nothing changes. Romans 1:32 "...they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." I might as well be watching the news on TV; it's all there. Evil behavior is seen as just fine and, in some States and Cities, even cause for celebration.

As born-again believers I think we need to take a more aggrssive attitude in our prayers toward evil and those who are promoting evil ways. I just heard about this quote from our illustrious govenor.
“On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I’m proud to declare under my administration, the State of Illinois will be the most progressive state in the nation when it comes to guaranteeing the right to choose for every single woman,” Pritzker said at the signing ceremony.
The govenor wants every woman to have the right to choose, but what about those baby girls, do they have any rights? They will never grow up to be a woman with the right to chose.
I am personally beginning to pray that evil is DESTROYED, in whichever manner God chooses. I recently watched Schindler's List and it was stunning that at the end of the movie he was distraught over the fact that he might have been able to save just one more person. I do not want to stand before God someday thinking that I could have saved one more baby, if only I had something as little as praying. Let's pray that this evil practice is destroyed.
