Did God select you to be saved from the moment of your creation or did you have to earn salvation? Surly God knows everything including the future so I doubt that there is much argument about his knowing who will be saved but are you designed to be saving while others are not? Romans 8:29 says, “For those God foreknew he also predestined…” but in 8:30 it goes on to say,” And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Does this mean that he knew who would make the cut and those would be “justified” and “glorified” or that he predetermined who would make the cut? Reading on to Romans 9:18 Paul says, “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.” Does this mean he decides who will believe? More to follow; comments and observations are welcome.
