We continued in Romans 11. Difficult to extract all the meaning from some sentences but we are calmed by Romans 11:33 “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!”
We talked about how so many jews could fail to accept Christ after all the miracles. One of our group observed that the signs of Christ to come were there long before Christ actually came on the scene. He pointed out, much to my delight, that the blood of a lamb without blemish was painted on the doorways of the Jews in Egypt and it saved the lives of their first born from the angel of death just as the blood of Jesus has saved us all from death. Note: The fact that some angels are executioners is very frightening. Recall also that angels were involved in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
