Hosea 2

We talked about the Lord always communicating in parables. 

• Matthew 13:13 (NIV) This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.”

We also talked about the wrongful interpretation by some churches of what God says:

• Deuteronomy 4:2 King James Version (KJV). Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

And we talked about the time some events took. Giving Israel the object lesson of Hosea marrying Gomer, an adulteress, took many years.
