Mutual Respect 1 Peter 3:1-10

Husbands and wives should respect each other. If one has a greater faith than the other, their faith can win over the other to God. Peter also said that if we wanted a good life we should keep our tongues from speaking evil. This is a real challenge these days when American politics has become so divergent. We have to school ourselves to “repay evil with blessings, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing" (NIV 1Peter 3:9). Remember, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech" (NIV 1Peter 3:10). You can't curse those you disagree with and expect your life to run smoothly.
