We read that Peter’s brother, Andrew, had been introduced to Jesus by John the Baptist as the Lamb of God and Andrew told Peter “We have found the Messiah.” So when Peter met Jesus, he was all but ready to follow him.
We also talked about how to approach a person with the word and it was suggested that if you ask them how they are and offer to pray for their problems; most will be so pleased they will become open to more discussion about Christianity.
Some of us thought that those who claim they don’t believe and push you away, actually want to be convinced. Consider those who actually oppose Christianity, if they didn’t want to believe, why would they care so much?
