Today we continued to discuss prayer and Christ's promise to answer our prayers. Some wondered why it seems we often can't heal and help others in destress through our prayers, but consider what Christ was doing and why. Christ cured thousands but his primary objective was to secure believers; if not, why wouldn't he have waved his hand and cured all the sick people in the world at once. We can pray for many things but our primary goal has to be to bring others to Christ - The physical earth is brief and unimportant compared to the spirit and eternity.
