THE RAPTURE

Not sure I should post this here as it didn't come from a CBMC meeting but many Christian friends overseas are wondering if recent events herald the coming of the end of times. I listened to an online sermon yesterday that was very thought provoking. It pointed out that Israel was exiled to Babylon for 70 years (a generation) and that it became a nation again in May 14, 1948 and, remarkably, the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem, establishing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel again, and opened it May 14, 2018 - 70 years to the day. Of further interest was the verse 1 Cor. 15:52 and it's reference to  The Last Trump - if Trump loses the election, his last day would be January 20, 2021... just speculation of course but the scariest thing I have heard is Bill Gates' suggestion that devices be implanted in people to verify that they have received the vaccine and can therefore go in public to buy and sell... If the device has the number 666 on it, I'm going to head for the woods. All this is speculation and some of it is fanciful but it does get you thinking. Would love to see some comments.
