DEMONS

We discussed demons today and whether or not they still exist. Some argued that because Jesus has triumphed over death, demons no longer have the power to possess people, but given the events we are seeing in many American cities today, I am inclined to rely on 1 Timothy 4:1 “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.” 

Another verse that has stuck with me all through my life, especially my business and political life, is Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
